I'm Fabiola Baughman

A shamanic practitioner and wayshower of Peruvian Indigenous Wisdom. My path has been one of listening deeply to the voice of the Earth. Following this inner guidance, I left behind my career as a scientist and biology professor in the United States and returned to my homeland of Peru, where I began to rediscover the secrets of my ancient heritage.

My Story

The Apus—the sacred mountain spirits—became my teachers. They guided me to create a documentary, even though I had no experience in filmmaking. Trusting their call, I gathered a small but dedicated team and set out to share the wisdom of the Andes and the profound messages of Pachamama, Mother Earth.

That film, Journey to the Heart of the Andes, has been recognized with several awards, including:

• Best Documentary (Tier 1) – Las Vegas International Film Festival
• Impact DOCS Awards – Award of Merit for Documentary Feature and recognition for films that inspire social change
• Three Awards of Merit – Accolade Global Film Competition (Documentary Feature, Hispanic Theme, Viewer Impact: Motivational/Inspirational)

Beyond filmmaking, my calling is to serve as a catalyst for transformation. I offer initiations, one-on-one sessions, talks, spiritual journeys, and group ceremonies where I share Andean wisdom to help people release fear and drama, discover their soul’s purpose, access inner guidance, and experience peace, joy, and connection with the sacred.

I am also working on a book titled Awakening the Earth Keeper Within: A Journey Into the Heart of the Andes. This book tells the story of how I became a unique Earthkeeper by listening to the guidance of the mountains throughout my life, and how I now invite others to do the same—to awaken to the wisdom of Pachamama, reconnect with the sacred, and embody their own Earth keeper path.

At the heart of my work is a simple truth: when we remember our bond with the Earth, we remember who we truly are.
